We are focused on packaging WILD with the best sustainable packaging available. This has proven to be challenging, as the cosmetics industry is only now moving in this direction. In fact, figuring out the best option for packaging has been the most challenging part of getting WILD out the door! We finally settled on glass bottles. Glass is readily recyclable no matter where you live. It goes from collection to a glass treatment plant where the glass is sorted and washed. It's then crushed, melted and made into new products.
We’ve now transitioned from pumps to aluminum caps on our products. We've studied the difference and although aluminum isn't a perfect choice, it's more readily recyclable that the lotion pumps that are used in the skincare industry.
If you collect and return 3 of our lotion pumps, email us and we'll send you a 15% discount on your next product order from us! We send the lotion pumps to TerraCycle who then recycles them.
