LABRADOR TEA FACIAL MIST
LABRADOR TEA FACIAL MIST
The scent of Labrador Tea is ethereal, like a faint drumbeat drawing you back into the heart of the forest, washed in the forest air, surrounded in the energy from the trees.
Labrador Tea grows in the muskeg bogs that are found along the coastal areas of the Great Bear Rainforest. Every August, we head out on a fabulous, crazy, soul building expedition to hand-pick the Labrador Tea. We then distill it here on the Northcoast and gather the essential oil and hydrosol to use in all of our products.
We created Labrador Tea Facial Mist to work as a standalone product or to combine with our Pacific Clay Mask.
Northcoast First Nations have used Labrador Tea leaves for their medicinal properties for thousands of years. We now know that it is highly beneficial in minimizing the visible signs of aging. The Ursolic Acid in Labrador Tea helps to promote skin elasticity and collagen production. Labrador Tea is also packed with anti-inflammatory properties , antioxidants, anti-microbials and Vitamin C to sooth your skin.
If you’re using it on its own, it works to deliver all of the skin saving ocean and rainforest botanical properties of our moisturizers in a light spray.
We combine Labrador Tea hydrosol and essential oil with Bladderwrack seaweed to provide the minerals, promote collagen production, moisturize and create a protective barrier on your skin.
DIRECTIONS: Wash your face, close your eyes and spray a little onto your damp skin. Please don’t spray it into your eyes!
If you’re using it with the Pacific Clay Mask, mix a little of the Labrador Tea Facial Mist with the clay instead of water and apply it on your clean face for 15 minutes. The combination will leave your skin feeling amazing. Follow that up with either Storm Force 8 or Storm Force 10 moisturizer and your skin is ready to face the elements!
